    The Bassett Firm, a fast-paced civil defense litigation firm in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas, is creating a new role, the Scheduling & Social Media Assistant, to add to our busy team.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the day-to-day execution of The Bassett Firm’s email, social media (LinkedIn, Meta, and X platforms), and content marketing strategies.
    • Assist in law firm scheduling daily to ensure calendaring is timely and accurate, including making and receiving phone calls, sending & receiving emails, and receiving correspondence.
    • Manage content calendar for TBF and their guests and schedule social media posts for all accounts.
    • Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
    • Participate in weekly Thursday morning calendar meetings to ensure accurate edits of events in real-time.
    • Organize, coordinate, & participate in external events/tradeshows, podcasts, webinars, and promotional activities solo and with attorneys for client, industry, and recruiting needs.
    • Organize, coordinate, & participate in internal events including sourcing speakers, vendors, locations, and activities.
    • Digital Marketing: Create additional digital marketing materials such as blog posts, newsletters (internal and external), and email campaigns to complement social media efforts.
    • Work with Management and our External Marketing Consultant to create and develop original engaging campaign strategies, social, and email content, including production, copywriting, and posting
    • Content Creation & Editing: Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos
    • Assist in managing the marketing budget and tracking expenses
    • Keep up with marketing and social media industry trends.
    • Assist in backing up other administrators with e-filing, naming & saving documents, and general mail/file room duties when staffing needs arise.

    • High proficiency in project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
    • Meet stringent deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure & fast-paced work environment.
    • Enjoys assisting others with strategy, content creation, execution, reporting, data analysis, and team collaboration.
    • Possesses high meticulousness and quality assurance regarding calendaring and scheduling for up to 40 legal professionals and the firm calendar.
    • Strong proofreading skills, and ability to utilize editing software, to ensure accurate and engaging content.
    • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for data analysis and creativity.
    • Proficiency in social media marketing strategies that utilize knowledge of industry trends.
    • Ability to develop day-to-day content for all accounts on relevant platforms.
    • Knowledge of video editing tools for creating multimedia content
    • Familiarity with social media management platforms
    • Prior experience with content development and marketing.
    • Basic graphic design skills for creating visually appealing posts
    • Basic Photography skills to capture high-quality images for social media use
    • Prior experience in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, Hootsuite, Calendly, Google Office, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
